SwapQuest came to Vita a couple of weeks ago, courtesy of Rebusmind, a German indie developer. When I saw the announcement video (below), I was positively excited. It looked like a really cool mechanic, and one that hadn’t been explored before.

I have never played a Hitman game before. Before you kill me, there’s a simple explanation: I play games exclusively on portable devices, and there hasn’t been a Hitman game released on these platforms. Until now.

Yes, “Volume” is a stealth game with polygon graphics. But that’s like saying that “King Lear” is some wood pulp and black ink.

First Impressions: Bastion

Well, after waiting for literally years to play Bastion on my Vita (I already own the game thanks to the Humble Bundle, but I wanted to play it on my handheld), I started to play today.

And kid (wink), was it worth the wait.

So, yes: the game doesn’t look particularly great, or sound all that awesome. But the mechanics are there, and when it comes to a rally game, that might just be enough to earn a very, very high spot in my book.
