For an unprecedented third week running, both the PlayStation Vita and PS4 have held the top spots in the hardware sales charts in Japan according to the latest figures released by Famitsu. Both consoles are continuing to perform well, bolstered in part with a steady flow of new releases which doesn’t seem to have been hindered by new releases for Nintendo systems like Mario Party 10. Infact, the PS Vita exclusive Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth made its chart debut at number three selling an impressive 53,495 copies.
Interestingly, the PSP is still showing signs of life with the new release Uta no Prince-sama: All Star After Secret managing to debut in the charrts at number five selling over 45,000 copies!
Looking at the figures themselves, the hardware charts for the week ending 15th March 2015 are:

- PS Vita – 20,996
- New Nintendo 3DS XL – 16,075
- PS3 – 6,579
- New Nintendo 3DS – 6,537
- Wii U – 6,333
- Nintendo 3DS XL – 2,016
