New Update To Minis Release Of Jetpack Joyride On PSN Store

Jetpack Joyride PSP Mini

Without any major announcement, the Minis release of Jetpack Joyride that was released back at the end of November 2012 has had a major update yesterday in the Playstation Network Store. While we criticised it heavily in our review for being a cut-down version of the game and being a paid release while offering no enhancements  over the free versions provided on other platforms (including the PS3 and PS Vita releases), it has now undergone some significant changes.

Since yesterday, the price of the game has been halved and in addition to that, the game now includes 50,000 coins as standard to help players off to a start with the game – making this the the only version of the game to have this initial boost for players. However, the full price version, offering no benefits to players, is still available through the store and no statement has been made to customers who have already purchased the full price version.

Accordingly, we have now revised our review to take this new pricing into consideration.
