King Of Fighters 97 Getting Physical PS Vita Release

King Of Fighters 97

There’s only a short amount of time left before Sony cease production of physical Vita games in the West. Not wanting to waste any remaining opportunities to get as many games out as possible, Limited Run Games confirmed another new release through their Twitter account earlier today. Later this month they will be releasing SNK’s classic arcade beat-em-up King Of Fighters 97 in a physical form for the PS Vita and PS4.

The beat-em-up, part of the popular fighting franchise, is being released on 22nd February 2019. Two versions of the game are being released for each format. The standard version of the game will feature reversible cover art and – as with all LRG releases – will come with a random trading card. For those looking for something special, there will be a Collectors Edition. This features the game, art cards, a double-sided poster, and manual. All of this is packaged in a large outer box in the same format as the original SNK Neo-Geo game boxes. This packaging has been produced in collaboration with Fangamer.

No quantities have been confirmed as yet, although we would expect that this will be limited to one per person.
