It’s been a monumental year for the PlayStation Vita. With the announcement of PlayStation 4, we’re finally seeing the realisation of Remote Play and what the PS Vita is truly capable of as a device fully integrated with other Sony consoles. We’ve also seen some stunning AAA titles in the shape of Tearaway and Killzone: Mercenary – true system sellers that have captured the imagination of gamers everywhere, and with the hard work of Shahid Kamal Ahmad and his team, indie games have never been better showcased with a massive variety of games to suit every gamer.
One thing we have always been strong supporters of here at Vita Player is PlayStation Mobile and ater a rocky start, even this has been undergoing something of a belated boost this year. The service is now undergoing an expansion doubling the number of countries that can access the games available and with the service being improved now to offer leaderboard support, there’s no better time for PS Vita owners to give PlayStation Mobile a try. There are some incredible games on offer – many of which gamers will have missed out on and with plenty of free titles and other games starting at just £0.40 combined with Sony’s annual PlayStation Mobile giveaway, we felt that it was worth taking a closer look at PSM once again.
