Ten “kids” games with 8GB PS Vita memory card

Our friends at Geek-station have just contacted us with some news from Sony’s official UK distributor, Centresoft.

With a release date of the 21st July, just in time for the start of the school summer holidays here in the UK, Sony Computer Entertainment Europe are releasing a special PSN Store voucher with ten games to download, headed up by Little Big Planet, but includes at least one PSP game.

The voucher will be included with a special SKU of the 8GB PS Vita memory card and in a bundle with the 8GB memory card and a WiFi PS Vita console.

The games included are;

  • Little Big Planet
  • Wipeout 2048
  • Motorstorm RC
  • Little Deviants
  • Frobisher Says!
  • Ecolibrium
  • Ratchet & Clank Size Matters (PSP)
  • Lemmings (currently unknown which version)
  • Hungry Giraffe
  • Rotating Octopus

Retail pricing is not confirmed, though it is suggested that the 8GB memory card + voucher SKU will be around the same price as the stand alone 8GB SKU at the moment, with the console bundle coming in below the current £229.99 RRP for the WiFi solus machine, perhaps suggesting an RRP change between now and then.

The 21st July will also see the release of the Jak and Daxter Trilogy and Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two on the PlayStation Vita from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE).

UPDATE:

Pricing for the 8GB + download voucher bundle looks to be approx £34.99, while the console bundle looks to be approx £199.99.
