In a post on Twitter this evening, publisher Sometimes You updated PS Vita owners on the status of their games regarding Cross Buy support with the PS4. Some had been experiencing issues who had purchased their titles in the past and not been able to download the PS4 versions of the game from the store free of charge as expected following their recent announcement.
After lengthy discussions with Sony Interactive Entertainment, Sometimes You have confirmed tonight that while Cross Buy support will exist between the two formats, sadly it will not function retrospectively. While this is a disappointment, it does still mean that a vast number of games will still be available for the long term once the inevitable happens with the PS Vita’s store.
