PlayStation Plus Titles Revealed For September 2018

With just a few months remaining for the inclusion of new additions for PS Vita and PS3 games in PlayStation Plus, gamers eagerly await each announcement from Sony Interactive Entertainment to see what final games are coming to the service. It’s something of a mixed bag this time and Sony themselves even me room in their update that the PS3 and Vita are just bonuses to the PS4 content.

Anyway, on with the update on what’s hitting the PS+ part of the store next month…

PS4

Destiny 2

Probably the biggest game to hit PlayStation Plus this year and only released this time last year, despite its successful retail this is still set to be an incredibly populat choice. In an unusual move, this has also been made available on the service now rather than as part of the September changeover date.

God of War III: Remastered

Remastered games may be a touchy subject for some but there’s no denying the quality of the God Of War series and what better way to act as a prelude to the PS4 exclusive than this remastered version of the final outing on the PS3.

The Rest…

Remaining in PlayStation Plus for another month will be two additional titles that made their debut in August. First is the PlayLink release Knowledge is Power and the second is the PlayStation VR game Here They Lie, both including for anyone who hasn’t had the chance to pick them up yet.

PS3

PS3 owners don’t have a great deal this time around with just a couple of games – the classic 16-bit remake Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition which is also being made available to PS Vita and PS4 owners by way of Cross Buy. In addition to this is another Cross Buy title, this time shared only with the PS4, in the shape of QUBE Director’s Cut.

PS Vita

Vita owners fare slightly better than PS3 owners this month with three games although once again two of them are Cross Buy titles. As with the PS3, PS Vita owners will be able to download Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition and in addition to that we’re getting Foul Play as a Cross Buy title with PS4 owners. The third and final game for the month is just for the PS Vita and is the puzzle game Sparkle 2.

Summary

That’s it for the month so on 4th September you’ll be able to download all of the following:

  • Destiny 2 (PS4)
  • God of War III: Remastered (PS4)
  • Knowledge is Power (PS4 – PlayLink)
  • Here They Lie (PS4 – PSVR compatible)
  • Another World: 20th Anniversary Edition (PS Vita, PS3, PS4)
  • QUBE Director’s Cut (PS3, PS4)
  • Foul Play (PS Vita, PS4)
  • Sparkle 2 (PS Vita)

It must be noted that God of War III: Remastered will not be available in the Middle East and instead this will be replaced with Tooth and Tail.
