For those astute gamers out there, you will have noticed that there was a recent update to The Pinball Arcade released a few days ago. This update enbled the download an installation of three new tables – a pack containing two additional tables, along with the long-awaited conversions of the classic Twilight Zone table. Well, this has now been released today on the Playstation Network Store for £3.99. Unlike previous DLC releases, this is a single table pack which works out at the equivalent of double the price of their normal releases.
According to Farsight Studios, the licence costs for this table initially prohibited its release so a successful Kickstarter project was needed in order to fund its release. However, for some reason, the PS3 and PS Vita versions are amongst the last to have been released – iOS and Android users have been able to play this since late 2012. The second Kickstarter-funded table, Star Trek: The Next Generation, is out at the end of this month.
As with all of their other tables, this is a Cross Buy release.
