We’ve had a bit of a shake-up behind the scenes here at Vita Player with our team so we’re now looking at bringing in a few more people to help us with the website. We’re trying to make Vita Player the best website that we possibly can for PS Vita owners everywhere with a strong balance of news, reviews, articles, guides, blog posts and more but we need help!
At the moment, our current team is stretched to their limits. Our site Editor is responsible for running a large scale Transformers convention every year, Auto Assembly, which takes up a large amount of his spare time, Sven Harvey runs his own business and Ben Gove is spending most of time during the day actively seeking work… while all three have a family life in addition to all of this!
So we’re looking for people to come along to join the team. We want people to help with regards to reviews, feature writing, news reporting, researching our ongoing articles and guides, social media, our forum and more and this is where you come in! Ideally we are looking for people who are already familiar with WordPress but we can train people up if we need to. On the review side of things, it is our long-term goal at Vita Player to review every game available for the Vita – whether it is a native title for the console or anything that will run on it – PS One, PSP, Minis or PlayStation Mobile. This means, ultimately, featuring reviews of over 1,000 games so we have a long way to go to cover the back catalogue!
We can’t pay anyone for their work on the site, but from time-to-time we do get sent review copies of games from publishers and these are distributed evenly amongst our team and we are using money from sponsorship and advertising to help our team as well. Recently all our team were supplied with memory cards and PSN vouchers. However, the majority of games that we review on the site are from our own personal collections and we would ask that anyone who does become part of our team understands this and covers games that they own that we have not already reviewed.
We also want to make sure that Vita Player is connected as socially as possible – through Facebook, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, our forum and anywhere else so we’re looking for people to help us out there. If you are interested, please get in touch using our Contact Form. We look forward to hearing from you!
