We’re proud to announced that this October will see the launch of the brand new Vita Player Magazine. Designed to complement the website, this will be a new digital only title available every two months starting October 2021.
What is the Vita Player Magazine?
Many may be asking why are we releasing a new PS Vita magazine now after the console has ceased production and that games are no longer being developed. Well, for us, we felt that this is the perfect time for us to release the Vita Player Magazine. Rather than focusing on news as traditional magazines do, each issue of the magazine is going to focus on a single theme. Some will look at a particular genre of games, others may specialise in a particular software publisher but regardless there will be a common theme throughout.
What will be in each issue?
Each issue will contain at least 48 pages of game reviews, articles, interviews and features. Some of the content will be revised reprints from the website but by having an overarching theme we will have all the content in one place making it easier to read. It will also include some advertising from publishers, developers and companies who may be of interest to readers.
How much will it cost?
This will be available as a FREE download directly from the Vita Player website as a DRM-free PDF file. We’ll announce when each issue is released both here on the website and on our social media channels so you’ll know when each issue becomes available.
Can I get involved?
Of course! We’re always looking for writers to be a part of the magazine. Whether you want to submit a review, article, or just have ideas or suggestions we’d love to hear from you. We’ll also be running polls and surveys on our Twitter account that you can take part in that will feed into articles in each issue.
Can my business advertise with you?

What’s in your first issue?
Issue 1, being released in October 2021, will be dedicated to the arcade shoot-em-up genre. It’s going to be taking a look at some of the best games to grace the console since it’s launch and we’ve already got our first developer interview lined up! We’re running a survey on Twitter right now to find out YOUR favourite games from the genre so you can be involved in the first issue too!
