Infinite Frontiers – We’re Back!

Over the last few months, regular visitors to all of our websites may have noticed that we have been somewhat quiet. We haven’t posted much in the way of new content, nor have we uploaded many new videos to our YouTube channel. In fact, even our Facebook groups have been in something of a subdued state.

We’d like to take this opportunity now to offer all of you an apology for this and a long overdue explanation… Here at Infinite Frontiers we’ve been through an unprecedented number of behind the scenes issues that have affected our work and communication, impacting on everything we do here.

Back at the beginning of April, my father was taken seriously ill and was rushed into hospital. I immediately travelled from home and spent the next few months at his house until he passed away in mid-June. During this time, not only was I away from my own family, but also had no access to my PC nor any real internet access. After that point I’ve spent the majority of my time dealing with my father’s estate and travelling between home and his house and this – understandably – has had to be my main focus. In fact, writing this article today is only the third time I have used either of my PCs in the last five months.

As you can imagine, this has had a huge impact on all of our creative outlets. While all our websites and YouTube channel are still active, we haven’t been able to add as much new content as we would have liked. I haven’t been able to record footage for any new videos for YouTube for months, let alone script or edit them and as for writing articles and reviews, that has been the least of my worries.

Marcos Codas, our lead writer and site designer, has also struggled personally over the last few months making things more difficult. Having to contend with his own health issues, day-to-day work and other commitments elsewhere he hasn’t been able to dedicate as much time to Infinite Frontiers as he would have liked as it is unfair for me to expect him to carry the team regardless.

As a result, everything has suffered in recent months. BUT there is light ahead. We’ve had some wonderful support from new team members who have joined us recently and we’re actively seeking to bring in fresh new talent across the board. We’ve got some exciting plans ahead that will revitalise everything that we do. Speaking personally, my time is now a little more relaxed as well so I can get back to doing what I love – creating content for all of you!

We’ve also overcome the problems we’ve been ensuring with Facebook for most of the last year so we can reach out better to promote everything that we do. So we’re expecting the remainder of 2020 and beyond to be a great time for everything we do.
