Another quiet week for the PS Vita over on the PlayStation Store. Summer is traditionally a quiet time for new releases and it’s no exception this year and while the PS4 is getting quite a diverse selection of new games, the PS Vita has just a single title this week in the shape of side-scrolling hack-and-slash action game Dungeon Punks.
We’ll be taking a full look at the game in the next day or two although we have already reviewed Dungeon Punks for the PS4 version on our sister website. Playing the Vita version for the last few days, it’s a fun game which generally feels like a cross between an RPG and the Sega classic Golden Axe. One thing that has already surprised us with the game is that it offers local multiplayer support when running on the PlayStation TV. Sadly only a few developers have taken advantage of the PSTV in this way but it’s refreshing to see.
