Announced today on the EU PlayStation Blog, Sony have confirmed the titles that will be available to gamers in July as part of their PlayStation Plus membership package. Ready to download through the service from 5th July 2016 (one day after my birthday folks!), it’s a mixed bag across all formats but if the last few months are anything to go by, Sony do seem to be putting more of a focus on the PlayStation 4 now with the service.
Kicking off with the PS4, PS+ is offering Saints Row: Gat Out of Hell and the new release Furi which is going straight to PlayStation Plus for its debut. Over to the PS3 and gamers are being offered Fat Princess and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood, both older titles.
Onto the PS Vita now and this is causing some irritation as has been the case for some months now with PlayStation Plus. Once again we are being offered a PSP title in the form of Prince of Persia: Revelations and this is being supported by Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines. While we have had some great PSP titles in recent months with two games from the excellent God Of War series, the Vita isn’t short of games that could be included and the lack of Cross Buy titles does raise questions as well.
Hopefully we will see a return to PS Vita titles shortly as Vita owners are no doubt starting to feel rather short-changed by the service at the moment, especially those who pay for the subscriptions on a month-by-month basis.
