“Big In Japan” Sale Hits PlayStation Store Today

News

It’s felt recently that the PS Vita has suffered when it has come to many of the sales run by Sony on the PlayStation Store. At best many of them have been rather lacklustre or have offered very little choice for PS Vita owners but not this time. Starting today, Sony Interactive Entertainment have launched their annual Big In Japan sale and this time it’s an absolute corker for PS Vita owners. We all know that the PS Vita gets a lot of love from Japanese developers and this sale is certainly proof of that. There are no fewer than 121 price reductions for Vita owners in the PlayStation Store available for the next two weeks on PS Vita, PSP and PSOne titles with some incredible deals and games up for grabs.

While we certainly can’t list everything here, we can talk about some of the highlights. As with most big sales, the entire Final Fantasy collection has been reduced but this time this includes Final Fantasy X/X-2, all three games in the Danganronpa series are on offer and there are discounts on a lot of major AAA Vita titles from the early releases right up to recent games with prices starting from just a couple of pounds. While there is a prevalance of JRPGs in the list of games on offer, there are some other real gems in there as well including the stunning side scrolling shooter DariusBurst Chronicle Saviours, many of the Metal Gear Solid series and more. The best bargain of the sale has got to be Hyperdimension Neptunia ReBirth2 which has been reduced to an astounding £2.59 (for PlayStation Plus members) from its original price of £24.99!

The only thing that you will no doubt find disappointing is not being able to afford everything that you want!
