The Missing Games
There are some titles that we would have recommended for the PSTV as “must have” titles that have mysteriously disappeared from the PlayStation Store. At this moment in time we can only speculate but we would assume that these are going to be amongst the 15 unannounced titles being added to the PlayStation Classic. These include some notable games:
- Crash Bandicoot
- Medieval
- Mickey’s Wild Adventure
- Suikoden
- Suikoden II
- Vib-Ribbon
There are others but it’s interesting to see that some of these are only recent releases but we wouldn’t be surprised to see some, if not all of them added to the Classic.
PSTV Or PlayStation Classic?
As you can see, it’s not a clear cut decision. If you already have a PlayStation Network account and own many of the PSOne games already, then you can download these straight to a PSTV so you don’t need to make a fresh purchase of them from the store. Even those that have been removed such as Suikoden will still be available to redownload. If you aren’t too certain, we’d suggest checking the final games list before asking whether enough appeal to you. Also you have to decide if playing other PSOne and PSP games would be of interest along with PS Vita games.
If you’re interested in a more diverse gaming experience then maybe the PlayStation TV would be the best option. In an ideal world, opt for both but if you can’t then it may come down to the games list and your personal tastes. No matter what, there are plenty of great games to keep everyone happy.
