Dungeon Hunter Alliance has divided Vita gamers since launch. But is it really as bad as they say? Or were expectations too high?
“Devious Dungeon 2” will come to Vita thanks to Ratalaika Games, who have committed to continue to support the handheld.
A dungeon crawler with a mixed identity, but beautiful presentation and endless (and fun) gameplay. Nothing wrong with that.
Today, NIS America announced that the release date for Stranger of Sword City has been moved to April 26 for North America, and April 29 for Europe.
There really isn’t that much more to say about DT2. If you like first-person dungeon crawlers, this is a solid choice. If you like JRPGs with fan-service, this is a no-brainer. And if you’re on the sensitive side about cartoon girls and how they are depicted in video games, this is definitely not the game for you.
I have to say, I’m liking this game. This is an experience closer to what I wanted Criminal Girls to be. It’s long, but it doesn’t feel repetitive. There’s decent enemy variation, locations change and the battle system evolves.
It’s not perfect, but… I am having fun with it. And that’s usually a good sign.
