Yes, it’s that time again where Sony announced what is coming to Playstation Plus in April 2013 throughout Europe and it’s set to be a fantastic month, especially for all of us PS Vita owners… Before we go onto the list itself and details of what is going to be hitting the service in the coming weeks, there is an offer on subscriptions right now. For anyone taking out a 12 month subscription before 10th April, SCEE are giving three months free. This will also works for those of you who purchase an additional 12 months and add them to your existing subscription so if yours is due to expire soon, it may be worth topping up sooner rather than later…
So onto the goodies themselves. There are going to be new games once again for both the PS3 and Playstation Vita and kicking off with the PS3 list there is Okami HD from Capcom. Replacing the current Lord Of The Rings game available in PS+, this time we are getting the RPG Lord Of The Rings: War In The North and still with adventures the superb The Cave by Ron Gilbert, creator of the classic Secret Of Monkey Island (one of my personal all-time favourites). Last, but certainly by no means least is the BAFTA award-winning Thomas Was Alone which is making its debut as a PS+ game!
On to the Vita and we’re getting a stunning selection. The star of the month is Zero Escape: Virtue’s Last Reward. This has been extremely difficult for many to find at retail and for a lot of gamers, this is going to be worth the price of subscription alone. Supporting that is the Vita version of Thomas Was Alone as well.
