Playasia affected by Hong Kong US Postal Ban?

Earlier today, the Hong Kong government announced that effective immediately they were placing a ban on all outgoing mail to the United States via their main postal service as part of the ongoing global trade war, initiated by Donald Trump. While we try to avoid discussing politics on the site here, this did cause some concern to PS Vita and other console owners globally worried about any current or future orders they may have been considering placing with online trader playasia.

Even though the store is based in Hong Kong, they have reassured customers that this change will only impact a small percentage of orders – those placed to the United States that are sent via EMS Speedpost which is their cheapest service. This is because it goes through the Hong Kong postal service and as such will be stopped before leaving the country. However, the majority of their orders are shipped via courier and as such are unaffected.

Customers living in other countries are unaffected by this change.
