Vita has no games? SAYS WHO!? Psychedelica coming to haunt Vita soon!
Vita port for a major release? Party like it’s 2012.
Adol’s new adventure on the Vita gets a western release date. “Ys: Lacrimosa of DANA” coming soon!
New batch of physical releases announced by Limited Run Games.
At the end of the day, “Day of the Tentacle Remastered” and I didn’t jive. We didn’t click (he, get it?).
I don’t know if I’m just seeing games like Secret of Monkey Island through the tinted glasses of nostalgia, but Day of the Tentacle just doesn’t seem that big or engaging. Or fun. At least so far.
I’m about an hour and a half into the game, and already the story has so many layers, it would have easily won “Ace of Cakes” (don’t judge, my girlfriend is a pastry chef).
Aside from minor frame-rate issues, “Bastion” on Vita is one of the best games I’ve ever played, on this or any handheld, and beyond. It’s beautiful, fun and haunting. If you haven’t played it, grab a copy for less than a cup of espresso will cost you in London and enjoy game-making at its best.
“Heroes of Loot” is all about having a no-frills portable dungeon crawler, and it excels at it. It’s fast, it’s fun, it’s frantic, and surprisingly, it’s quite cheap: a launch price of $3 makes this one hell of a bargain.
