Six weeks of FREE PlayStation Mobile Gaming Starts Today

News

In a move that is bound to please European Playstation Vita enthusiasts, starting today and for the next six weeks, Sony are giving away one Playstation Mobile game away each week!

One game will be available from the Playstation Network Store for the PS Vita or compatible mobile phones and will announced every Wednesday so if you haven’t already tried the PS Mobile range, now would be a great way to try these great pocket-money games out!

The first title available in the range is the side-scrolling rhythm / beat-em-up Samurai Beatdown from Beatnik Games.

Here at Vita Player, we feel that the Playstation Mobile range is a natural successor to the Playstation Minis range and is a fantastic way for smaller independent developers to get their games into the marketplace and bring affordable gaming to enthusiasts who can’t always afford the more expensive full-price titles. It’s also a fantastic way to build up a great software collection for those of you who are pushed for space on your memory cards as, like the Minis range before them, the PS Mobile games are extremely memory efficient.

Even if you have some of the games already or are thinking of buying some games from the range, this a great New Years gift from Sony and a wonderful introduction to the range and if you haven’t already given the Mobile games a go, there’s no better time!

To check out what is coming each week, check out the Playstation Blog or keep coming back here every Wednesday for the latest updates.
