SECOND Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night game coming for PS Vita?

With just over 24 hours to go in its Kickstarter campaign, it is looking extremely likely that Bloodstained: Ritual Of The Night being produced by Castlevania’s creator Koji Igarashi will be bringing not one but two games to the PS Vita when it is released…

The crowd-funding campaign has already exceeded its $500,000 target by a considerable margin and recently reached the stretch goal to bring the game to the PS Vita in collaboration with the development studio Armature. However, a more recent stretch goal added to the campaign was to bring a bonus standalone prequel mini-game to backers. This goal has now been reached for the main console versions and the target for the PS Vita is potentially just a few hours away. For those of you interested in getting your hands on not one but two games from Koji Igarashi, there’s still time to back the campaign over at https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/iga/bloodstained-ritual-of-the-night and both games are included in all the tiers from $28 upwards.

For those of you feeling more adventurous, there is also a physical Vita version being produced for the $60 tier!

  1. Update to this… at the time of posting this comment, the PS Vita version of the prequel game is just $45,000 short of it’s target with 14 hours to go. At the rate this fundraiser is going, not only is that on target to be reached but also the $5m stretch target should be achieved which will bring a rogue-like dungeon mode to the game (presumably across all platforms).

This is shaping up to be something pretty exciting!
