Surprising everyone, Laughing Jackal has announced the the recently confirmed PlayStation Vita version of their hit PS Minis and PlayStation Mobile game Hungry Giraffe is being released on the PS Vita tomorrow (6th March 2013) in Europe as part of the weekly PSN store update.

This is the first of three upcoming Vita titles from Laughing Jackal, and is being released throughout the PAL region on Wednesday the 6th March on the PSN Store priced at just  £2.39 / €2.99 and following shortly afterwards for the US store.

When released as a PlayStation mini Hungry Giraffe was downloaded over 100,000 times and was also the first mini to get a 10/10 review from Official PlayStation Magazine UK, who called it: “…as cute as a puppy with an inside-out ear and so addictive that it’s likely to make you miss your stop on the bus and not really care.”

For the brand new Vita version of Hungry Giraffe, apart from improved visuals, Laughing Jackal have also added:

Three new skins – Fed up with gobbling your way from the savannah to the skies as a giraffe? Then why not use our fabulous Reindeer, Emu and Snake skins?

Brand new Angel Feather power-up – If you find yourself falling to your certain doom, why not buoy yourself back into the skies with the brand new and ever-useful Angel Feather powerup?

Amazing Upgrades – Use your calories to unlock later Stages, nerf the effects of poison, pills and weights, get more boost from low-calorie foods, store more Hard Hats, give Chillies a better kick and more!
