PS Vita release of Civilization Revolution 2 Plus delayed

Originally scheduled for release on 3rd December last year, the PS Vita port of 2K Games’ Android and iOS hit Civilization Revolution 2 Plus has been hit with another unexpected delay. Planned for release today in North America and Europe today, the latest incarnation in the games series by legendary developer Sid Meier has now been postponed with no date set other than 2016.

A spokesperson for 2K Games stated that, “The team is hard at work making sure the title lives up to fans’ expectations, and we appreciate your continued patience as we take the time needed to prepare the title for global release in 2016.”

Western PS Vita owners have voiced frustration over these delays, especially considering the fact that the game has already been released for the Eastern market with in-game English language support so localisation certainly can’t be a reason for the delay from 2K Games. Hopefully the delay won’t be too much longer and that – as in the East – we get a retail release.
