PS Vita port of Regalia: Of Men And Monarchs cancelled

Pixelated Milk, developers of the Kickstarter-funded RPG Regalia: Of Men And Monarchs have announced today in a backer update that plans for the PS Vita version of the game have unfortunately been cancelled.

The developers have been working tirelessly to find a studio to adapt the game to the Vita but the complexity of the game engine has proven too difficult to port and Pixelated Milk have taken the decision to bring the project to a close. The game is still being released on all other platforms and those who have purchased the Vita version are being given the option to have a partial refund and have the PC original or swap to any of the other console releases (PS4, Xbox One or Switch).

It’s sad to see another PS Vita crowdfunded project fold and we hope this isn’t a sign that others will follow. At present we know that Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is still on target for a Vita release and we haven’t heard of other cancellations but we will keep you posted.
