While it’s still early days, it looks as if the price cut may be having the intended effect for the PlayStation TV. Amazon UK have shown an increase in sales for the micro-console of a staggering 1470% and it is now ranking number 10 in the PC and Video Games best sellers category. Whether this momentum will continue is unknown but if these figures are reflected in other parts of the retail sector this could bode well for the PS Vita as PlayStation TV owners who purchase the device to use initially with the PlayStation 4 start to discover the world of PS Vita gaming.
Only time will tell but this could prove to be an interesting few weeks…
