PlayStation Plus Update – September 2016

It’s time once more for the latest update for PlayStation Plus members as Sony Interactive Entertainment have unveiled the latest additions to hit the Instant Games Collection for September 2016. As expected, the focus is still with the PlayStation 4 although things are quite a bit brighter this time for the PS Vita than they have been in previous months…

So without wasting any more time, landing on 6th September 2016 on PlayStation Plus are:-

PS4 – Badland (Cross Buy), Lords of the Fallen, Journey (Cross Buy)

PS3 – Badland (Cross Buy), Datura, Journey (Cross Buy), Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

PS Vita – Amnesia: Memories, Badland (Cross Buy)

Unusually this month, it’s the PS3 that is receiving more games than the other formats even if some are through the Cross Buy initiative and once again the Vita languishes with just two games. However, despite the quantity we’re not being short-changed for quality and the real highlight for the Vita this month is the visual novel, Amnesia: Memories although we appreciate that it’s a game that won’t appeal to everyone. It does make a refreshing change from recent months to have two Vita titles once again (even if one is by way of Cross Buy) and let’s hope that this is a sign of positive things to come as we head towards the end of the year.
