PlayStation Plus Update – March 2016

It’s time again to take a look at what games are coming as part of the Instant Games Collection with PlayStation Plus for March 2016. Interestingly, none of the games on offer next time are available as Cross Buy so all three PlayStation formats are getting two unique games each, although the choices this time around have left many gamers feeling more than a little angered…

PS4

  • Broforce
  • Galak-Z

PS3

  • Super Stardust HD
  • The Last Guy

PS Vita

  • Flame Over
  • Reality Fighters

Interestingly, the PS Vita is the only platform to feature a previously-released retail title although it is disappointing to see the majority of titles for the PS3 and PS Vita being several years old, some now almost a decade old. It is also sad to see that both of this month’s PS4 titles were originally slated to have been PS Vita releases bt subsequently cancelled. Had the Vita releases gone ahead then we most likely would have seen these as well via Cross Buy.

Despite the limited choice on offer, Flame Over by our friends at Laughing Jackal is still a great rogue-like fire fighting action game and one that we love here at Vita Player. Reality Fighters is a quirky beat-em-up but sadly relies too much on its gimmicks to be worth justifying its original retail purchase but as a freebie, it’s worth a dabble.

All of these games are hitting PlayStation Plus on 1st March 2016 so don’t forget to download or at least make sure you have “purchased” the existing February titles before then so you don’t miss out!
