Several months ago, Sony ran a promotional offer giving away a FREE PlayStation Mobile game each week for a six week period to promote the platform and to generate interest amongst gamers who may not have tried out PSM games before. Started on Wednesday 27th November with the EU PSN Store update and running for a five week period, Sony are giving away TWO PlayStation Mobile games each week right up until 22nd January 2014 (taking a short break over the Christmas period) meaning that gamers will get a total of ten free PSM titles! All you need to do to get these games is head over to the PSN Store from your PS Vita or PlayStation Certified smartphone or tablet and download the games absolutely free!
Starting things off are the the overhead football game Passing Time and the space strategy game Rymdkapsel.
Passing Time is an all-new touch-controlled football game from the developer behind Frobisher Says! for PS Vita, and the upcoming Hohokum for the PS4. Pass the ball and burn the opposition with a blistering fireball, prove your slow motion skills by mastering the rock ball and show off your one touch finesse with the explosive bomb ball.
Rymdkapsel is a relaxing, meditative strategy game set in the depths of space. It builds upon the legacy of Martins earlier games by requiring minimal user input, while needing highly strategic thinking to progress. You’re tasked with building the best possible space station by commanding your minions to collect and utilise the different resources at your disposal.
