Beyond Human is a new Metroidvania Sci-Fi platformer inspired by Metroid, Megaman, and Devil May Cry.
With a combination of platformer and hack and slash, the game builds upon the classic open-world Metroidvania style by mixing a deep hack and slash combat system, exploration, and stuning 16-bit pixel art.
The game is set to features:

- 6 Locations to Explore
- 8 Boss Battles
- 20+ Mini-Boss Battles
- 40+ Unlockable Gun Modes/Melee Moves
The release target platforms are Windows, Mac, PS4, and PS Vita and and it is planned to be released as Cross Buy for the PS4 and PS Vita.
The developers are also running a design competition for those who back the game and the winner will have their designs featured in the finished version of the game influencing the look of the main protagonist and one of the game’s bosses.
The campaign closes on 31st October 2014 with a funding target of €20,000 and over €1,000 has been raised already in it’s first few days. Unlike many current Kickstarter projects, the PS Vita version is included in the goal as standard rather than as a stretch goal so once this target is reached a PS Vita version will be assured.
