Today, GAME Retail announced that for a limited time only the chain will be selling the PlayStation TV for the incredibly low price of £49.99! The offer price is part of a package deal for anyone purchasing the micro-console alongside a PlayStation 4 so consumers can get Sony’s latest console at a saving of £35. While GAME are promoting the PlayStation TV as a companion device for the PS4 for Remote Play during this promotion, the instore and online advertising does mention the device’s use for playing PS Vita games alongside it’s compatibility with PSP and PS One Classics and the bundled PS Vita titles.
Whether this promotion will bolster PSTV sales is uncertain at the moment although as in-store promotion has been somewhat subdued so far this can only be a welcome move from the store.
