Unlike last time, it’s been quite a packed week over on the PSN Store for PS Vita owners with a healthy selection of new releases and – for the first time ever – gamers in the EU have seen titles hit the store on the same day as the US with Sony confirming that it is their intention to release as many new digital titles as possible on Tuesday from now on although the official announcement and store update will continue to be made on Wednesdays for the foreseeable future.
This week’s update isn’t without some controversy though. Two of this weeks new releases have made their debut with generous discounts for PlayStation Plus members but these initially hit the store without the discount being made available (nor was there any notification that there was a discount on offer). Many gamers snapped these titles up quickly onto to find our later that the discounts should have been in place and are now in the process of seeking partial refunds from SCEE for their mistake.
