A few days ago we reported on the games that are going to be appearing as part of the Instant Games Collection for PlayStation Plus members for March 2017. Not wanting to leave people out, we felt that it was time we took a look at what is going to be on offer to all our friends over in the PlayStation Asia territory from 9th March…
Just as is the case in the EU, the PlayStation 4 gets the bulk of the attention with Tearaway Unfolded headlining the month’s offerings. This is supported by another major title in the shape of Resident Evil Umbrella Corps. As we’ve seen here in the EU, the PS4 is no stranger to preferential treatment when it comes to PlayStation Plus and also gets two further titles by way of Cross Buy – Titan Souls and Starwhal.
Onto the PS3 and owners are treated (if that’s the correct word) to Anna: Extended Edition and shares the aforementioned Cross Buy title Starwhal with the PS4, both of which have been available on PlayStation Plus in the EU previously.
Finally, onto the PS Vita and again this is limited to just two games. As with the EU, gamers are being provided with Severed but also the Cross Buy title Titan Souls jointly with the PS4.
So, available from 9th March are:-
- Tearaway Unfolded (PS4)
- Resident Evil Umbrella Corps (PS4)
- Titan Souls (PS Vita / PS4)
- Starwhal (PS3 / PS4)
- Anna: Extended Edition (PS3)
- Severed (PS Vita)
Sadly, as we’ve seen here in the EU all too often, PS4 owners are being offered an extensive and diverse selection of games while owners of the other PlayStation platforms have to settle primarily for Cross Buy offerings. It does give gamers a continual feeling that they are an afterthought from Sony Interactive Entertainment and it does leave many questioning the value of the service if they only own a PS3 or PS Vita.
